Private Member's Club
Located in Fitzrovia, London, BEAT is an exclusive members-only and late-night club. Urban & raw with exposed brick walls and street art inspired graffiti. Relaxed & warm with a cool vibe, this venue has become one of the most sought after "after-party" venues in London.
BEAT openened in September 2012 on Margaret Street, taking the place of former famous speakeasy club "The Speak". This venue was a late night haunt for many greats of the music industry in the 1960s and 1970s. Artists who performed and frequented the club were Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, The Who & Bob Marley. These artists are paid hommage to in the design of BEAT.
Irish-born urban artist Fin Dac worked with Tibbatts Abel to realise the vision of this new venue.
"The intention was to fuse a street art aesthetic with the arrogrant portraiture style of military works. I focussed on American civil war regalia and painted in simple black and whit, with splashes of colour and hints of another Urban artist, Conor Harrington, famous for his military style." Fin Dac
